Cheryl L. Hoying, PhD, RN, FACHE, joins The Joint Commission today as chief nurse executive and executive vice president of customer relations. 

Reporting to President/CEO Mark Chassin, MD, FACP, MPP, MPH, as a member of The Joint Commission enterprise senior management team, Hoying is responsible for building and strengthening relationships with accredited and certificated organizations and other stakeholders.
