Anthem’s sponsorship of $200,000 in Gleaners’ Senior Hunger Initiative and Senior Mobile Pantries will have immediate impact on vulnerable seniors throughout Gleaners’ 21 county service area.
Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana (Gleaners) and Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield in Indiana (Anthem) are collaborating to address the growing issue of senior hunger in the 21 counties Gleaners serves. Anthem will support Gleaners’ efforts to feed seniors in need through a $200,000 gift that will make it possible for the food bank to host 120 Senior Mobile Pantries in 2019.
