CareSource purchased Community Choice Michigan in late 2007, making CCM the newest member of the CareSource family of companies. The Michigan plan is a nonprofit Medicaid managed health care plan that has served Medicaid consumers in Michigan for 11 years. We provide services through a contract with the Michigan Department of Community Health. CareSource currently serves more than 50,000 members in 38 counties across Michigan and more than 555,000 members in all 88 counties in Ohio.

CareSource is a leading nonprofit public-sector managed care company based in Dayton, Ohio. The company is the largest Medicaid HMO in Ohio and the 4th largest Medicaid HMO in the country. In 2008, CareSource began serving dual eligibles in both Michigan and Ohio with its new Medicare Advantage Special Needs Health Plan.

CareSource is serviced by CareSource Management Group, which provides a full spectrum of services for the administration of public-sector health care programs.
