Health Net Pharmaceutical Services (HNPS), headquartered in Rancho Cordova, Calif., with offices in Health Net’s four regional health plans, manages the pharmacy benefit and drug spend for Health Net, Inc. HNPS customizes its service to the plans building strong relationships with members. The nearly 300 HNPS associates contract with national health care providers, vendors, drug manufacturers and pharmacy distribution networks; oversee pharmacy claims and administration; review and evaluate new FDA-approved drugs for safety and efficacy; and manage data collection efforts to facilitate the plans’ disease management programs.
